Residential Care Facility PERGINE
The project involves the conservative renovation of the building, aimed at the functional reorganization of the internal spaces and the upgrade of sanitary, fire safety and technical systems, in order to accommodate a new Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RSA).
The facility includes 28 patient rooms, each equipped with private sanitary facilities and accessible service areas.
At the same time, interventions were planned to improve the seismic performance of the building and its energy efficiency.
The project involved the complete demolition of architectural and mechanical components, up to the exposure of the structural skeleton of the building. Seismic strengthening was subsequently carried out through the construction of rigid floor diaphragms at different levels and the installation of external steel bracing systems.
The architectural design included a complete reorganization of the internal layout and the redesign of the external envelope. The new façade is characterized by a revised window layout, the volume of the stair tower clad in folded sheet metal, and new structural steel bracing elements. The materials used include lime-based plaster finishes combined with corten-effect metal cladding, designed to maintain a contemporary architectural character while integrating harmoniously with the surrounding urban and landscape context.
The project was fully developed using BIM methodology, with particular attention to the integration of all disciplines, clash detection and cost control.
