HOTEL CORONA – 3 stars

Located along one of the main access routes to Florence’s historic center, just a short walk from Santa Maria Novella railway station and the Basilica of San Lorenzo, Hotel Corona d’Italia occupies a full-height building hosting 80 guest rooms and related common areas.

Between 2013 and 2017, Studio Unidea carried out a series of interventions aimed at rationalizing the interior spaces and upgrading the sanitary facilities, with an approach designed to make the spaces more functional and welcoming.

The works included the renewal of furnishings, the redefinition of guest rooms and the organization of more comfortable common areas, with particular attention to creating a familiar and informal atmosphere.
The structure was redesigned to effectively accommodate business travelers, conference guests, students and families, thanks to flexible layout solutions and dedicated room types responding to different needs.
