Supercondominium Via G. Rossa

The residential complex was built in the 1980s within a PEEP development area in the municipality of Rufina, in the locality “I Piani”. The complex was developed as social housing and consists of: 5 buildings, including: 3 buildings rising over 5 above-ground floors 2 buildings rising over 7 above-ground floors, and a single-storey block housing garages and the electrical plant, for a total area of approximately 12,000 sqm.

The project involved the energy retrofit of the buildings, taking advantage of the Italian “Superbonus” incentive scheme. The energy improvement measures concerned both the common areas of the residential complex and specific interventions on the individual housing units.

The condominium interventions included the thermal insulation of the building envelope through an external insulation system and the complete upgrading of the central heating plant, with the replacement of the existing boilers with new high-efficiency units.

In parallel, a 20 kWp photovoltaic system with a 40 kWh storage system was installed, connected to the heating plant’s supply point, together with the replacement of the window frames in the individual residential units.
